• Background

  Theodosia was the third oldest of her six siblings. Her father, Eldon Sparks, was a mechanic who barely made enough money to support their family. They lived a comfortable life without many luxuries, but they always had a house and food. Theo was a very quiet kid which meant that her parents often overlooked her and payed more attention to her louder siblings. The only way that could get her parents attention was being helpful. She would always follow her father to his work shop and help him. She quickly discovered that she had a knack for machines and could fix anything that was put in front of her.
  
  When she was 20 she was offered a job working as a mechanic on a ship. The ship, which was named Grim, was a cargo ship. Theo spent 2 years working on that ship until the ship was attacked by pirates. A gang of pirates attacked the ship, killing almost all of the crew. Theo was in the engine room when they attacked and she heard the sounds of gunfire above deck. She immediately started to dismantle the engine, but one of the pirates found her and started trying to shoot her. Theo tried to hide but her arm got stuck in the gears, crushing her arm. The pirate laughed and was about to kill her when someone burst into engine room and shot him. Another crew who had been hunting the pirates had boarded the ship.
  
  They managed to rescue her but there was no way to fix her arm so she was given a mechanical arm. After that day, Theo became terrified of guns and ships. She used the money she had save up from working on the ship to buy herself a shop where she works as a mechanic.
